Root Canals
Our teeth have always had one mortal enemy: tooth decay. We get cavities and cracks. If they aren't repaired promptly, the decay gradually eats down into the pulp. That's the soft core inside the root of the tooth. If the pulp dies, your tooth can become infected and very painful.
Root Canal Therapy
During root canal therapy, We will:
- Ensure you are comfortable and feel no pain
- Clean the root canal out
- Seal it off to protect it from further damage
- Place a temporary filling or crown over the tooth to strengthen it until a permanent restoration can be placed
Once a permanent restoration has been done, your tooth is ready for years of chewing and smiling.
